Summary:
A registered nurse, or RN, typically monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
They typically do not need to meet the master's degree requirement of a nurse practitioner.
Required Qualification:
2 years of RN experience.
NY RN License BLS Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing preferred.
Associate degree in nursing is considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN Program Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Nursing Medications Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
