PGS Worldwide is actively seeking skilled Test Technicians to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Greenlawn, NY.
This is an initial 10-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
Has a good working knowledge of electronic circuitry and RF theory.
Must be able to read and understand schematic diagrams and drawings.
Able to perform the following:
Troubleshoot to component level, document testing, and troubleshooting with a non-conformance.
Work collaboratively with peers and Engineering.
Use all commercial test equipment such spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
Requirements:
2-4 years' experience in RF/Electronics Testing.
Requires a High School or Trade School diploma or its equivalent and a basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through advanced study of up to two (2) years.
Must be able to obtain Secret clearance at a later date.
Experience with test equipment such as DVM scope, power supplies, and current meter.
Background with computer software, hardware and network fundamentals.
Experienced user of Microsoft Windows and Excel.
Desired:
Bachelor's Degree.
Prefer candidates with prior RF testing experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
