The candidate for this position will join the Technical Operations Compliance group which uses data analysis, industrial engineering principles and Quality tools to monitor and improve internal processes and meet customer expectations.
You will be teaming with staff across the Operations team including manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Safety, Quality and Operations Program Management staff.
Our products focus on high reliability defense electronics with emphasis on system integration and test.
The position offers opportunities to evaluate new and existing Operations processes and to help develop innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives.
This will include Teaming with other sites across the U.
S.
to create the required manufacturing process documentation, improved best practices and statistical monitoring to insure the streamlining and predictability of processes.
Conduct employee training for improvement projects, software tools and have an opportunity to mentor fellow engineers and manufacturing staff members.
Using Quality and Industrial Engineering principles/data/tools to monitor processes and identify existing and potential causes of non-conformances, variation or risk.
Team members work on both individual and group projects and share expertise they bring to the position or learn through experience and formal training.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills The candidate should have working familiarity of the following types of tools/concepts via educational, job experience and/or military service assignments:
Manufacturing Execution Systems and Quality software tools Data analytics Mapping processes Auditing processes and systems Corrective Action/root cause tools including 8D, Root Cause Corrective Action Analysis Lean Manufacturing principles (Lean 6 Sigma Green/Black Belts) Working knowledge of Electronics and related industry standards including AS9145,ANSI/J-STD-0001 and ISO 9001 Knowledge or willingness to learn data tools including PowerBi, SharePoint and Excel Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, Effectively and concisely Willingness to teach and mentor othersEducation:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, Quality or related discipline
Experience:
Prior work or military experience on defense electronics or other high reliability commodities.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$80040 - $136080 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
