Accountable to meet systems engineering work scope with respect to overall cost, schedule and technical performance for all projects within product area through their life cycle. Ensure preparation of competitive systems engineering cost estimates that are executable, meet established price-to-win targets, and grow the business. Effective systems engineering staffing to all projects within the product area. Provide support to the development of product roadmaps and strategies that sustain and grow the business. Identify, develop and hire critical skills that are needed to support the product area growth. Establish staff development plans and training opportunities to support continued skill development of staff. Work across organizational boundaries to solve problems and secure resources. Perform supervisory duties in alignment with the business and aligned with company code of conduct.
Requirements
12
year(s) related experience. Extensive technical leadership experience and mission/domain knowledge developing electronic systems relevant to the product area . Extensive systems engineering experience and significant experience in DoD product development. Proven performance management, mentoring, coaching and communication skills. For the mission workstation product area this role is expected to require 35% managerial effort and 65% engineering effort in technical assignments.
Education
Bachelor degree in an Engineering or Scientific field.
