Principal Contract Administrator

Greenlawn is on Long Island's North Shore, close to plentiful housing, nationally-renowned school districts and just minutes from the area's beaches. Within easy reach of the vineyards and resorts of the East End of Long Island, close to New York City by car or train. Role includes: Lead the proposal, negotiation, and management of complex proposal and contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements with limited guidance or supervision from the Contracts Manager. Interpret and communicate business commitments and alternatives to program team and management. Application of extensive knowledge of government and commercial contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations. May supervise or guide work of lower grade contracting employees. Advise management of contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation alternatives and business strategy. Support Program managers, Product Line Directors, and Business Area leads and provide contracts advice and counsel to management at all levels as required. Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience Experience with agreements other than contracts (ex. NDAs, bailment agreements, distributor agreements and/or software license agreements) Strong written and verbal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member Preferred Skills and Education JD, MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field Experience with commercial contracting and intellectual property 44759BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
